We were thrilled to be back once again at one of our favourite venues, Eltham Palace, for Freiderike and Salvatore’s wedding. It is a magnificent venue and the happy couple chose to exchange their vows in the wood panelled, Art Deco domed entrance hall, which gave their guests a 360 view of the couple as they stood together in the centre underneath the bright domed glass roof. After canapes and fizz on the terrace, and the family photos we took a stroll through the gardens and into the walled rose garden for some romantic couple photographs. This is always a great time for the bride and groom to be together, away from all their guests, to enjoy each other and the excitement of being newlywed, before rejoining their guests for the wedding breakfast and reception. The wedding breakfast and reception were held in the vast medieval Great Hall, and we managed to sneak out later with the bride and groom as the sun lowered for some extra special photos. It was wonderful to capture a day of two happy families joining together to celebrate the wedding of a couple that really are made for each other.
